Coffee Brewing Methods
Coffee brewing methods vary widely and can significantly impact the flavour and aroma of your coffee. Below we have grouped together the coffees we think work best with each brew method!
AeroPress
The AeroPress is a popular piece of coffee kit known for its simplicity, portability, and the ability to produce a smooth and flavourful cup of coffee. Check out our AeroPress brewing guide here.
Chemex
The Chemex is appreciated by both coffee and design lovers alike. This unique and elegant glass coffee brewer uses scientifically designed heavy paper filters to retain oils and hold back any finer grinds, ideal for brewing more complex coffees.
Cold Brew
For this brewing method, coffee is steeped in cold or room-temperature water for an extended period of time, then filtered. This slow extraction produces a refreshing, less-acidic drink that's perfect for an iced coffee in the summer. We like an extremely fruity and juicy cold brew to pretend we're actually hydrating.
Espresso
Rich and balanced coffees for the budding home barista. Great for a bold shot straight up or for pairing with milk.
French Press
The French Press, or cafetière, is a classic for a reason. This popular method for brewing coffee offers simplicity, versatility and is great for sharing. We've selected some coffees that'll make you dig yours out from the back of the cupboard.
