Chilean Wine

Chile got its start in wine production with the introduction of grapes by Spanish colonists. This common grape ‘vitis vinifera’ evolved into Pais- which still makes up a big chunk of Chilean grape yield and forms the basis of brilliant value traditional table wines. Chilean wine benefits from the diversity in its climate and its geographic isolation, producing a vast variety of styles while remaining largely free of pests and diseases.
