Greek Wine

Wine grapes are grown widely across Greece and have been for over 6000 years. Greece’s wine culture spread to its colonies around the Mediterranean, establishing vines throughout Italy, Southern France, and Spain. Greek wine is still built on native varieties like Assyrtiko, Ximomavro, Savatiano and Limnio with many of these grapes grown exclusively in a single region in response to their unique terroirs.
