India Ratnagiri Lot 3 - Outpost Coffee
Ratnagiri Estate is a Rainforest Alliance certified farm in South India’s Western Ghats mountain range, operating since the 1920s under 3 generations of the Patre family. The Patres push the boundaries of Indian coffee production, operating experimental natural, honey and anaerobic processing alongside traditional washed coffees to create interesting lots like this Special Washed beauty here roasted in Nottingham by Outpost that has undergone an extended anaerobic fermentation period. Grown in the dense shade of silver oaks and intercropped with pepper, this coffee is full of complex raisin sweetness and a smooth milk chocolate body perfect for a rich filter or espresso.
