Burundi Shikankoni - Outpost Coffee
This fruity fully-washed Burundi is milled by Ikawa Nziza at the first purpose-built specialty drymill in Burundi, which provides processing for high-quality microlot coffees in the region. This high-altitude lot at Shikankoni Hill is also produced in partnership with Cafex, a Belgian-Burundian project that encourages sustainable development and living and working conditions for the people of Kayanza. The best quality cherries are carefully selected from daily pickings to produce a coffee that is rich in sweet orange marmalade and cranberry, with a bite of ginger, roasted perfectly for filter by Outpost.
