Vincent Lacoste

The Lacoste family acquired their first vineyards in Bordeaux in 1856, farming in Donzac on the highest bank of the Garonne River. The 33 hectares of Château de Cranne vineyards are composed of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest a mix of Cabernet Franc and white varieties.

Vincent Lacoste has headed up the estate since 2005, carrying six generations of family heritage while initiating the estate’s conversion to organic viticulture and using illustrations from local cartoonist Nono to convey a style of Bordeaux that is approachable, expressive and playful.
