Banka, China - Hard Lines Coffee Roasters
This Chinese coffee from Hard Lines introduced us to the China as a coffee origin for the very first time, so it was only right that we snapped up the latest harvest this time around. This vibrant natural process lot from Banka is a world away from the washed ones we've tried in previous years- juicy cherry, Haribo sweets and ripe tropical fruits.
Banka farm and washing station is managed by Yunnan Coffee Traders and sources coffee from both its on-site 100 hectare farm and various small hold lots on the hillsides of the surrounding villages of Banka Yi and Banka Er. Yunnan Coffee Traders have been real pioneers of Chinese specialty coffee, with a mission based in research and training.
We are long-time Hard Lines coffee fans. Based in Cardiff, Hard Lines Coffee Roasters select and roast great coffee that’s been sustainably sourced in order to build long lasting relationships with their producers.
