Not a dominant coffee origin, the coffees we get from Bolivia are truly special. This anaerobic washed lot, roasted by Outpost in Nottingham, comes from the Los Yungas region- the only major coffee producing area of Bolivia. While washed processing is traditional in this area, an anaerobic fermentation stage was added here to create clean and sweet cup tasting notes of peach and strawberry.

These coffee beans are a selection from local smallholder farmers in Caranavi, the product of programme ‘Sol De La Mañana’ run by Agricafe, who produce and source specialty coffee in Bolivia. This programme aims to improve Bolivian coffee quality as a whole, teaching small producers best coffee practices in both growing and management, allowing them to improve their coffee, their profits and their lives.
