Happenstance Yunnan, China - KillBean
Thanks to KillBean’s brilliant sourcing, we’ve got another exceptional Chinese coffee to try. These coffee beans balance tropical fruit flavour with deep chocolate body and some slight winey tannins.
This washed lot has been sourced from the HappenStance estate in southern Yunnan, where founder and head processor Xin Zhao has been helping to showcase the potential of coffee from China’s Yunnan region on big competition stages.
We’ll be brewing up this coffee with an Aeropress to bring out the rich flavours and textures of this cup.
London micro-roastery KillBean was founded by Yanyi Xu just a year ago with the aim of bringing more Chinese coffee to the UK market.
