Huila-Cauca Decaf Blend, Colombia - Crankhouse Coffee
For their latest decaf coffee, Crankhouse have combined two Colombian coffees from different regions, Huila and Cauca, to create a 50/50 blend that is better than the sum of its parts. We loved the El Carmen decaf that Crankhouse previously offered, so were delighted to see it make up part of this coffee.
Crankhouse are following the growing desire in specialty coffee for better tasting decaf, by creating this delicious coffee that is smooth, sweet and nutty with prominent orange acidity.
Both of these coffees underwent decaffeination at the DESCAFECOL plant in Manizales, using the native Colombian decaf processing method of Sugarcane, or EA.
