Importers Indochina are dedicated to sourcing the best specialty coffee from across Asia. Together with our brilliant roasters, they’ve exposed us to a bunch of coffee from rarer origins, including China.

This coffee comes from the Kaku farm in Yunnan’s Menglian County. Kaku founder Li Jiang Rong was a real pillar of both the Lahu community and the Chinese coffee industry before his recent passing. While the farm has processed commercial coffee for big companies for over 20 years, his dedication to quality saw him gain great respect for his specialty grade washed lots. His son Li Jiang Rong and farm manager Lao Zang are still continuing his work in developing Chinese specialty coffee and sharing the better profits of specialty production with their local community.
