Aricha Ethiopia - Outpost Coffee
Outpost Coffee’s Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee celebrates the region’s incredible micro-lot system with a complex and sweet coffee with tropical mango and vanilla notes.
This lot comes from the Aricha drying station, pulling from smallholder farmers growing Ethiopian heirloom varieties. These unique varieties are indigenous to the region and promise unique tasting notes that have been emphasised in this bag by a natural carbonic maceration process.
After harvest, the coffee cherries are fermented in stainless steel with CO2, allowing bacteria to break down the sugars in the fruit.
