Las Llantas, El Salvador - Hundred House Coffee
We loved Hundred House’s previous Salvadoran coffee sourced from Jose Enrique Gutierrez’s El Limo farm, and this one from the same farmer's Las Llantas plot is just as good.
Finca Las Llantas sits in El Salvador's Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range where the coffee is shaded by Inga trees and the same focus on speciality production and traditional farming techniques holds true. This anaerobic processed coffee is a juicy one: really clean mouthfeel, plenty of tropical acidity, and a bit of cacao body.
Co-founders Matthew Wade and Anabelle De Gersigny focus on careful small batch roasting backed by decades of coffee experience. The team at Hundred House’s passion for culture means their coffee also supports the creative community through outreach and collaboration.
