Good decaf can be hard to find, but this Brazilian roasted by North Star uses gentle, natural and organically certified sparkling water CO2 process.
Even better, this decaf coffee offers the familiar taste of one of our faves Brazil Montanari, with the North Star team redirecting 100 bags of their staple Brazilian beans to a plant in Germany for organic decaffeination.
The carbon dioxide circulates through the beans and acts like a magnet, drawing out the caffeine molecules, and the good caffeine selectivity of the carbon dioxide maintains other coffee components which contribute to taste and aroma, leaving a cup of coffee that is rich with good body but filled with complex fruit on the palate.
