Experienced coffee producer Fredy Orantes is a real leader for other farmers in his community in Santa Rosa. Fredy’s 7 hectare farm Buena Vista sits in Guatemala’s Fraijanes Plateau, where the coffee benefits from volcanic soil, altitudes above 1800MASL, and plenty of sun.

As this year was an unseasonably cold year, the naturally processed coffee beans in this lot roasted by Curve Coffee had to be dried for 25-30 days to reach the desired moisture levels.

The result of this careful attention to detail is a cup with bright notes of dried tropical fruit flavour and a sweet and jammy body- great for an interesting batch brew and best enjoyed without milk.
