Uganda Bukonzo Dream - Triple Co Roast
Blueberry tasting notes stand out in this syrupy sweet new Ugandan coffee from Bristol based Triple Co. These naturally processed coffee beans come courtesy of non-profit organisation Agri Evolve’s washing station in the Rwenzori mountains aka the Mountains of the Moon.
The facility collects coffee cherries from over 300 smallholder farmers in the region, while also providing training and education for local growers. Most of these producers are Bakonzo, an ethnic group who live in the Rwenzori Mountains across both Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and are extremely proud of their unique tribal heritage.
