These coffee beans are grown in the extremely high altitudes of the Guji highlands, where the handpicking and natural processing is overseen by small-scale exporters Buno Coffee and their founder Abiyot Boru. Working with trading partners like Buno ensures that farmers on these micro-lots are properly compensated for the care needed to cultivate high-quality coffee beans, even during the off-season. This care ensures really expressive cups, full of floral and fruit aromas with a pleasant buttery mouthfeel. A great example of Ethiopian coffee, at a really accessible price.
