Colombia Tablon de Gomez - Fika Coffee
We’re big fans of Fika Coffee's recent Colombian coffee beans: classic chocolatey flavour profile with a touch of fruity acidity to keep things balanced and interesting.
Their latest comes from smallhold producer Tablón de Gomez in Nariño, where an elevation of around 2200MASL makes for the perfect growing conditions of tropical days and cool nights. This region, once remote and difficult to access, has recently gained a bit of a reputation for producing exceptional specialty grade coffee, famed for its sweet body and juicy acidity. This washed one has a great rich silky mouthfeel that would work perfectly in a coffee with milk and a citrus acidity that really comes through with filter brewing methods.
