More Rwandan coffee beans fresh in from Curve! This one is a perfect-for-filter washed coffee from the Vunga Co-operative Washing Station. Vunga brings together 180 women producers who farm in Nyabihu, a region with exceptional potential for quality but low coffee production due to the constant danger of landslides from heavy rainfall in the surrounding steep hills.

Though established in 2009, since 2017 the co-operative has partnered with Muraho Coffee Trading Company to improve the infrastructure in the region and shine a light on the quality coffee the farmers are producing by helping it reach an international market.

All coffee produced at the station is fully washed, and this is a signature example of their elegant but fruit forward flavour profiles. This one offers a refreshingly juicy hit of nectarine, with some honeyed body- it’s just crying out for a Chemex!
