Rwanda Gitesi - Two Words Coffee
Why have a morning coffee and OJ when you can get your citrus punch from your brew? These new Rwandan coffee beans from Two Words are zesty and sweet, with notes of orange rind, brown sugar and mandarin.
Gitesi Washing Station is owned and operated by father-son duo Alexis and Aime Gahiza. In addition to providing a high quality processing facility that has produced many award winning coffees, the team behind Gitesi are determined to revitalise the Karongi region of Rwanda. They offer the 1800 local farmers who supply them education, health insurance and even cows to act as an additional source of income.
Roasted specifically for filter, this washed coffee is refreshingly clean, ideal for brewing with a Kalita Wave.
Liverpool's newest roaster TWO WORDS brings together a team with bags of experience across the specialty coffee industry, passionate about growing the city's coffee scene. Coffee shop owner Tian has joined forces with head roaster Allison and marketing expert Tom to create a brand that's big on showcasing the hard work of dedicated growers around the world.
After roasting for some of their fave local businesses over the past year, they're moving from a 1kg Bullet roaster to a 15kg big boy in their new roastery to give us further afield a chance to try their selection of specialty coffee from passionate farmers.
