Esther Sampertegui is an incredibly passionate coffee producer whose farm El Mirador is located in the Jaen district of Cajamarca in Peru. This region sits at 1600MASL and has a consistent cool climate that makes for a long growing season- great conditions for the slow ripening of coffee.

Esther finds her motivation in her children, constantly working to improve her coffee to set them up for the future. Developing her understanding of harvesting and post harvest processing techniques has gained her recognition with international roasters like Coborn Coffee- something she’s always proud to share with her community.

This washed coffee is clean and vibrant, with sweet jammy notes of raspberry and bright blood orange acidity. Best brewed with pour over methods for a cup with plenty of clarity.
