Harmony’s autumnal easy drinking option is this classic Brazilian coffee from Abner and Vanessa Carvalho’s farm Sitio Baixao da Serra, which offers sweet, biscuity flavour. Both Abner and Vanessa grew up in the industry and in 2011 the husband and wife duo sold their house to fulfil their dream of owning their own farm. Baixao da Serra sits at around 1000 MASL in Caldas, in the heart of the Minas Gerais coffee-growing region. All coffee undergoes natural processing, and it’s a full family affair with Abner’s brothers Edir, Edivair and Edenilson-all experienced specialty coffee producers- collaborating to help with the harvest and share ideas about processing.

This is Harmony’s fourth year buying from Abner and Vanessa, increasing their purchase every year and now taking around 50% of their total harvest! These long-standing, growing relationships with farmers are one of the things we love to see from our roasters!
