With this washed lot, Cairngorm’s sourcing partners Primavera are celebrating the female workforce behind the coffee industry in the region of Huehuetenango. Much of the coffee supply chain has been and continues to be dominated by men, but this coffee offers a premium to Guatemalan women producers, encouraging and rewarding their involvement from cultivation to processing. What’s more, it’s a delicious cup full of toffee sweetness and smooth chocolate with just a hint of acidity: a real all-day easy drinker.
