Yidnekachew Dabessa, Ethiopia - North Star Coffee
This coffee comes from certified organic Yidnekachew Dabessa Chalchissa farm in south-west Ethiopia and is the fruit of North Star's new buying partnership with Bertu Coffee. The traditional Ethiopian supply chain can be very short-term oriented and lacks the structure needed for continued investment. By creating stronger relationships between producer and buyer and incentivising sustainability and high-quality coffee, Bertu hopes to form lasting partnerships with more stable farms.
