China Yunnan Gui Ben - Dark Woods
After a looong time without a Chinese coffee, we’re excited about this new bag from the team at Dark Woods. The region of Yunnan is diverse in its culture, language and landscapes, and has a rich tradition of tea concentrated around Pu’er.
This honey processed coffee comes from the mountains near the China-Laos border, where Mr Tian Cai and Mr Tang harvest, process and buy from other local growers in Shigaoqin and Gui Ben, all with an aim to showcase the great potential of specialty coffee in their country.
A sweet, crowd-pleasing coffee that melts beautifully in milk and has a soft fruitiness over filter, we think this one makes a great intro to this rarer coffee origin.
