Nicaragua Finca Samaria - Outpost Coffee

This really special Nicaraguan coffee roasted by Outpost comes from a single-varietal, single-plot microlot grown by the Peralta family, whose farm in the forested hills of northern Nicaragua is at the forefront of speciality coffee innovation in the country. This lot underwent extended fermentation in an anaerobic environment, before being slowly dried on raised beds.

With a surprisingly bold pineapple acidity at the forefront and a sweet medium-body this coffee was an instant win with us and makes for a super juicy filter.

Nottingham based Outpost Coffee are a small, independent roaster committed to life-long coffee learning and education, spreading the word of well sourced coffee made well.
