El Salvador Los Angeles - Hard Lines Coffee Roasters
Finca Los Angeles in El Salvador’s Ahuachapán mountain range might not have the glitz and glamour of Hollywood but does specialise in growing Pacamara. This hybrid coffee plant has been cultivated to get the best of the Paca and Maragogipe varieties, and is noted for its distinctively large coffee beans and complex cupping character that Hard Lines have specially selected for their range.
The farm is overseen by Sigfredo Corado’s Los Naranjos group, which operates a herbicide-free policy and provides technical training in harvesting and processing for members. This particular lot has undergone natural processing, and the fruit left on for drying provides a surprising zesty quality to an otherwise rich cup- great for brewing with a french-press or in your home espresso machine.
