A new Peruvian micro lot coffee roasted by Crankhouse with tangy and sweet notes of blackberry and apple that make for a truly versatile cup.

Jorge Díaz Campos, has agriculture in his blood, with his family originally farming in Peru's highlands. Jorge has combined both this generational knowledge and his experience working for the Norcafé Co-operative to develop his family’s coffee growing operation on their farm La Colmena of the Amazonas region.

While he primarily grows Bourbon and Caturra on their 7 hectares of land, Jorge is experimenting with rarer varieties like Geisha in coffees like this washed lot, to provide increasingly unique coffees that stand out in the Peruvian coffee market.

Jorge’s quality control and attention to detail is clear at every level of cultivating and processing, with beekeeping, selective harvesting, controlled fermentation, clean water from natural sources, and meticulous drying all underpinned by his ambitious philosophy.
