A new Costa Rican coffee is always reason for excitement- this origin is constantly investing in innovative farming and processing. These coffee beans, roasted by Round Hill Roastery, have been farmed and processed by Juan Rafael Montera Gamboa at his family farm and his own Tio Juan Micromill. Juan’s aim has always been to bring out the very best of his family’s coffee while working in harmony with Costa Rica’s incredible natural ecosystem, and operating his own micromill gives him full control over quality and production.

This washed lot is 100% Red Catuai, farmed organically and harvested only from fully ripe red cherries, fermented in their own mucilage for 48 hours before washing. The health of these plants shines through in vibrant sweet lime flavour, a delicate chamomile aroma and a body of chocolate truffle.
