Villa Maria Red Colombia - Crankhouse Coffee
Villa María Red is part of Crankhouse Coffee’s partnership with Red Associations, an initiative to achieve stable and sustainable prices while funding shared knowledge and access to the speciality market for coffee-growing families in the Colombian of municipality Villa María. Located in Caldas in the UNESCO designated Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, Villa María is rich in natural resources. The efforts of this programme and its outstanding coffee have brought Crankhouse back for a fifth year and we can see why, it’s a delicious full bodied chocolatey washed Colombian with notes of red plum.
Exeter based Crankhouse Coffee launched in 2014, growing from a single car garage to a roastery in the heart of Exeter where quality is key. Today, they are dedicated to a sustainable future of coffee, and contribute to organisations that drive science-based change in the industry such as the Specialty Coffee Association, World Coffee Research, Alliance for Coffee Excellence and One Percent for the Planet.
