Costa Rica Alto San Juan - Dark Woods
This Costa Rican roasted by Dark Woods is a classic Red Honey, a processing technique pioneered in the Central American nation where the ripe coffee cherries are de-pulped and then transferred to be dried with their mucilage still on. These coffee beans have been sourced from Diego Abarca at the Alto San Juan Micro-mill, whose operation of his own processing facility is very typical of coffee production in the region, and allows for exciting experimental micro-lots. This bag, perfect for brewing with filter methods, is sugary sweet with complex stewed fruit flavours.
