Fazenda Barrinha - Brazil - Cartwheel Coffee
Peach, pear, plum… toffee. This fruity and sweet new Brazilian coffee roasted by the team at Cartwheel Coffee ticks all the boxes. Third generation coffee farmer Armando Costa’s Fazenda Barrinha is in Sao Paolo’s Mogiana region, known for producing consistently sweet naturally processed coffees. Cartwheel are developing a great relationship with the farm, where some 30% of the land is wild to allow the natural ecosystem to flourish.
This coffee has great body, making for a uniquely fruity espresso or a rich and juicy filter.
Cartwheel is a Nottingham based independent specialty coffee roastery and café who are bringing transparent conversations about the journey of their coffee to their customers. Having grown up working in his Mum’s café, founder Alex threw himself on a whirlwind coffee journey all over the UK, becoming passionate about sharing coffee as more than a commodity product. Cartwheel’s coffee prioritises bold and unique flavours, honouring the characteristics of their origins and those involved in the coffee supply chain through sustainable sourcing.
