Nafkot Admasu is a female coffee producer from Gedicho who operates on a 0.5 hectare farm and processing station. Her farm fosters a sustainable ecosystem which is underscored by her deep connection to the land she grows on and the Ethiopian heirloom varieties she cultivates. During the harvest season, Admasu employs 35 seasonal workers who assist with natural processing and ensure consistent quality is maintained as the coffee cherries sun-dry for two weeks on site.

Having achieved so much with her own farm and benefited from exporters and government initiative, Admasu seeks to empower growers in her community, actively contributing to the Ama Commitment scheme.
