Elsewhere’s new Kenyan coffee is bringing the party with vibrant flavours of boozy tropical punch and starburst sweets. Disco Baby was produced by Lot 20 Coffee, a Kericho based company who work with smallholder farmers in Kenya’s Rift Valley to innovate and organise their production while serving their communities.

Lot 20’s attitude to transparency and community certainly isn’t the norm in the Kenyan coffee market, but their grassroots approach towards smaller local processing facilities helps keep the value of coffee with its growers and create employment opportunities locally.

This Etago Extra Special lot was grown by smallholders across Kisii County, where coffee is cultivated between 1400-2200MASL, and processed using an anaerobic fermentation with a naturally occurring fungus that enhances the fruity sweetness of the final cup.
