Another very special Ethiopian coffee from Bette Buna. This lot, roasted by Hard Lines, is their signature natural from their Megadu farm in the Guji Zone, offering a sweet and fruity flavour profile of blueberry, peach jam and kiwi.

Harvest came early in Guji this year, with ripe Ethiopian heirloom cherries picked in November rather than the usual December. Each lot was placed on raised beds where underripe and overripe cherries were removed before drying for between 20-25 days. The dry cherries were then taken to the Bette Buna mill at Megadu where they were rested for at least 8 weeks to develop lots of lovely intensity and complexity before dry milling ready for export and final screening for quality control.
