Karimikui, Kenya - Hard Lines Coffee Roasters
Hard Lines’ new Kenyan coffee delivers that signature blackcurrant juiciness alongside a rich and comforting cocoa body. This one comes from around 600 farmers on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya whose coffee is processed at Karimikui factory in Kiringaya.
After strict sorting, the densest ripe cherries undergo fully washed processing- which includes overnight fermentation followed by washing and soaking to remove all mucilage and bring out a sweet, expressive and full-bodied cup.
We love brewing Kenyan coffees with an Aeropress and they’re a real favourite on batch brew.
