Elsewhere Coffee’s new bouncy brew is jumping with the sweet, fruit forward notes typical of the Guji region of Ethiopia. 

The Guji highlands are the perfect location for coffee cultivation, and the village of Benti Nenka is very centrally located to allow farmers to easily deliver their coffee cherries. Contributing to this natural lot are around 500 smallholder farmers who cultivate between 1 and 2 hectares of forest-like plants around the Benti Nenka Coffee Processing Station. The small size of these farms means that the farmers can tend carefully to each individual plant, and the majority of coffee is grown ‘passive organic’ without the use of fertilisers and handpicked.

Benti Nenka has been working since 2017 to diversify their offering from the traditional Ethiopian washed process, and is now renowned for producing outstanding natural lots like this one.  The final cup is full of delicate pink berries and cherries with a sugared finish that will have you bouncing through your day.
