Another incredible Ugandan coffee from the foothills of Mount Elgon. Coffee for this lot was grown by smallholder farmers between 1800-2000MASL across the district of Sironko and processed by Norman Mukuru at The Coffee Yard.

Cherries are delivered to The Coffee Yard, a large drying facility where Norman is leading the way for exceptional natural process coffees in the region. Here they are sorted then fermented in sealed barrels for 100 hours of anaerobic fermentation- a process constantly being refined on site to achieve cleaner and more vibrant flavour profiles.

These beans, roasted by Round Hill specifically for filter brewing, are bright and sweet- with refreshing watermelon at the forefront backed by rich cherry and creamy strawberry body.
