We love our big, bold Costa Rican coffees but it’s nice to try something softer and fresher to explore everything that the origin has to offer. This bag, roasted in Edinburgh by Cairngorm Coffee, is exactly that; with mellow peach creaminess and sweet vanilla notes making for a deliciously versatile brew. 

Café Ceres is a micromill in the mountains of Terrazú founded by mother daughter duo Alexandra and Stephenny in 2019. It might sound like a recent project but the pair had been preparing for its opening for years and were straight out the gates producing exceptional honey process microlots like this one.

The quality of their coffee improves year on year and so do their efforts in sustainability. Café Ceres are currently working to earn the Bandera Azul ecological certification which recognises businesses who seek to protect Costa Rica’s unique natural resources and address the effects of climate change.
