Speciality coffee shops in Edinburgh

Edinburgh has an enviously good specialty coffee scene that's only gone from strength to strength in the last few years. There's cosy cafés, sleek coffee bars and enough local roasteries to keep them all well stocked. 

Thankfully, we're just a short train ride away so we tried to beat the January blues with a tour of some of our faves and, in return for a steep climb up the city's hilly streets, we got some of the best coffee that the UK has to offer.
