Mbili Twiga PB, Tanzania - Hard Lines Coffee Roasters
On a Kilimanjaro safari you might be lucky to spot elephants, lions and rhinos, but Hard Lines have done the hard work for you finding this juicy Tanzanian coffee.
Tanzania produces some incredible coffees with the unique tea-like and fruity flavours that East African coffee is known for. At origin, the vast majority of coffee is grown by smallholder farmers who are managed by Rural Cooperative Societies (RCS).
These washed coffee beans are a blend from the Makiidi RCS’s smallholder farmers in the foothills of Kilimanjaro and estate coffee from Karatu near Ngorongoro in Arusha. The name Mbili Twiga translates to ‘two giraffes’ in Swahili and is symbolic of the coming together of these sources, which combine to create a complex and sweet cup with notes of forest fruits and toffee and a pleasant floral finish.
