Brazil + Peru Blend - Wood St. Coffee

This Brazil and Peru blend is Wood St’s first real foray into blends and, like the very best of them, definitely creates a super balanced final cup that’s greater than the sum of its parts. This coffee has lots of fruity and nutty complexity but still retains solid depth and chocolatey body, making it a great option for both filter and espresso drinkers.

As Wood St’s house espresso, the Brazilian portion is one they know well. This pulped natural is sourced from smallholder farmers in the village of Sertaozinho and makes up 40% of the blend. The other 60% is a washed processed Peruvian coffee from Jaen that brings delicious balanced acidity and blackberry notes. Best of both worlds.

Specialty coffee roasters Wood St started life as a coffee stall in Walthamstow’s Wood Street Indoor Market and slowly evolved into a permanent neighbourhood fixture, bringing REALLY GOOD COFFEE to their corner of East London.

In 2022, Clare and Gareth Reid handed over the reins of the cafe and honed in on their roasting business, moving into a large unit in Saffron Walden, Essex to meet the growing demand for their REALLY GOOD COFFEE across the hospitality sector.

It’s in high demand for a reason: responsibly sourced, democratised coffee, carefully roasted with the core belief that anyone can brew great coffee if given the tools, knowledge and training.
