Las Flores, Guatemala - Triple Co Roast
Cola bottles, red starburst, lemon sherbet- there’s half a sweet shop in this one. These pick'n'mix vibes scream filter brew and come courtesy of Triple Co Roast’s new Guatemalan coffee Las Flores, which has been sourced from the extremely high altitude region of Huehuetenango.
The farmers who contributed to this lot were supported by award-winning Guatemalan coffee producer Fredy Morales and the Coffee Bird organisation who supported them with processing. For this washed lot, each farmer sorted and pulped the coffee by hand and fermented it for up to 24 hours. The coffee was then washed in channels and finally moved to dry on drying patios.
These coffees were then brought to be assessed by Fredy and his family and divided up into truly special lots.
Triple Co Roast is a speciality roaster in the heart of Bristol , inspired by founder Jo’s studies in California.
Their mission is to small batch roast high quality coffee beans, buy green coffee via true direct trade, and focus on having amazing roaster-to-customer relations as an open-access roastery.
This triple focus gives them their name and ensures delicious, ethical coffee and great transparency and knowledge right through to the customer.
Triple Co are also absolute whizzes with espresso machinery and really value education in coffee, so you can get the best from their product.
