Jeisson Fabian Ortiz is another rising star in an exciting generation of forward thinking Colombian coffee producers. Jeisson has only been growing coffee for 4 years at Finca Buenavista in La Plata, Huila but is already earning acclaim.
Managing just 4 acres of coffee producing land means Jeisson, like the other smallholders who dominate the high altitude landscape around La Plata, can grow and tend to exciting single variety lots like this Pink Bourbon.
This coffee was picked when it is at its bright pink best, then depulped, dry fermented twice in tanks and finally washed. This bag from Round Hill Roastery is a great example of why Pink Bourbon coffee has soared in popularity, bringing characteristic clean hibiscus florals, big sweetness, and juicy strawberry flavour.

This coffee roaster focuses on single farm and single estate coffee allows them to create strong relationships direct with suppliers and bring truly unique coffee and complete transparency to their customers.
