Mellow Colombian specialty decaf coffee beans full of sweet dried apricot notes, nutty praline complexity and plenty of chocolatey body. Roasted by Northside in Morpeth, this is LOCAL's house decaf coffee, approved by the discerning decaf drinkers of Jesmond.

One of our goals with this coffee was to provide a near identical espresso experience for decaf drinkers, and this washed coffee comes from the same group of farms in Quindio as our House Coffee, hitting many of the same nutty and chocolatey notes without the caffeine.

After harvest and initial processing, the coffee was transported to the Swiss Water processing plant in Vancouver for decaffeination, where the caffeine is extracted without chemical processing to retain the natural flavours.
