A beautifully balanced coffee from Norma that showcases the important work of women in the Guatemalan coffee industry. Con Manos de Mujer translates to ‘With a Woman's Hands’ and comes from the 43 women producers of the A’xola cooperative in Huehuetenango.

Founded in 1989, A’xola is largely made up of farmers with indigenous Mayan heritage in the community of Petatan and was set up to improve the quality of life of its members and their families while selling high quality coffee. Every harvest, the women of A’xola combine their coffee and market it together with the aim of highlighting the issues of domestic violence, access to education and leadership that women face.

This washed coffee is classic Huehuetenango: sweet and chocolatey enough for a comforting espresso but also offering plenty of clarity with notes of white grape and melon when brewed with filter methods.
