Hard Lines described this coffee as stickiness meets elegance and we decided to hear them out.
These Colombian coffee beans are like drinking gummy bears soaked in mango juice; clean, vibrant, fun and pure tropical joy.
The unique flavour comes from the natural process utilised in the region of Tolima. Typically, natural process coffees are reliant on dry, sunny climates but the farmers in Tolima have perfected the controlled drying of their coffee without over-fermentation or moulding even under near constant rainfall.
This lot, El Indio, is sourced by Cofinet from two cooperatives in the region. ASOPEP and ASCI'SP both help their members gain organic certfications, improve agricultural practices and educate them in quality control methods so that they can obtain higher prices for their coffee.
