Sometimes single origin, sometimes a blend but always sourced from incredible women coffee producers, Girl Crush is Girls Who Grind’s signature house coffee that delivers reliable, silky smooth espresso with minimal faff.
Their current crush combines a natural coffee from Brazilian coffee company Mio run by Ana Luiza Pellicer and her mother Renata Parisi, with a washed coffee from Peruvian co-operative CECANOR- part of Café Femenino’s programme supporting social justice and empowerment for women coffee producers worldwide.
A great all rounder that’s perfect for both black and milk-based drinks with a winning balance of chocolate, hazelnut and blackberry flavour.
Girls Who Grind Coffee is a female founded specialty coffee roastery based in Wiltshire.
New York born Casey founded GWGC in 2017 with co-founder Fi with an aim to make space in the specialty coffee world, seeing room for change in a traditionally patriarchal industry.
As part of their strive for equality and representation in the coffee industry, GWGC source all of their coffee from women producers to celebrate their massive contribution to the industry. The conscious choice they have made is all about sharing these women’s stories too, so that their customers know exactly who they’re supporting.
