Guatemala is unique in profiling its coffee regions to show off the diversity of flavours available from one single origin. The rainforest region of Cobán sits high in the mountains of Alta Verapaz. It’s cool, its rainy, it’s cloudy, it’s green, it’s great for growing coffee. 
 
This well balanced coffee comes to us from local roaster Fika in Durham and offers crowd-pleasing flavours of hazelnut and caramel with some cherry brightness, all wrapped up in a creamy body that makes it ultra-versatile across all brewing methods.
 
Smallholder farmers across the region have contributed to this washed lot. Most of these are indigenous Q’eqchi producers who operate family run farms that employ traditional techniques in both cultivating and processing.
