Tinamit, Guatemala - Curve Coffee
Curve’s ‘house filter’ series showcases easy-going, mellow coffees that you want to brew a big batch of and drink all-day everyday. Creamy, chocolatey and sweet with stone-fruit flavour, these washed Guatemalan coffee beans first the bill perfectly.
This one comes from the region of Atitlán, where the crops are influenced by the rich volcanic soils and unique Xocomil winds that stir Lake Atitlán. Tinamit Tolimán is a relatively new cooperative of coffee growers founded in 2018 in San Lucas Tolimán on the shores of the lake. The co-operative now has 26 members of predominantly Kaqchikel indigenous heritage who are as concerned with preserving the natural resources and beauty of the lake as they are with producing outstanding quality coffee.
Curve Coffee Roasters are a values-driven roastery based in sunny Margate, Kent, founded in the back of a café in 2016 by passionate coffee professionals Tereza and Jon.
Curve know that the coffee they roast has the potential to make big differences to people’s livelihood and create better balance in the coffee industry. As a result, Curve’s focus is on seasonal, high quality coffees that are better not only for coffee drinkers but for the supply chain and the planet too.
